Oken Scanner is a strictly offline-first application. Your scanned documents, images, and PDF files are processed and stored exclusively on your local device. We do not have servers that store your documents, and we cannot access your private files.
2. Analytics & Measurement
To improve our service and understand app performance, we use Mobile Measurement Partners (MMP). These partners may collect anonymized technical data such as device identifiers, installation source, and basic app usage metrics to help us optimize our marketing efforts and app stability.
3. Advertisements
The app may display advertisements. These ad networks may use device-specific identifiers to serve relevant ads to you. You can manage your ad tracking preferences in your device system settings.
4. Data Security & Responsibility
Because Oken Scanner does not upload your files to the cloud, your data security is tied directly to your device. Please be aware: If you delete a document within the app or uninstall the application, your data will be permanently removed. We do not maintain backups and are unable to retrieve or recover any lost documents for you.
5. Permissions
The app requires camera access for scanning and storage access for saving files. These permissions are used strictly for local functionality. We do not "phone home" with your camera feed or stored documents.
